Dr. Allan Botkin
Dr. Allan Botkin holds a Psy.D in clinical psychology from Baylor University, an M.A. in clinical psychology from Illinois State University, and a B.A. in psychology from the University of Kansas. He has been a practicing psychologist since 1983.
Dr. Botkin’s expertise in his specialty has long been respected by the psychotherapeutic community, as indicated by the publication of “Case studies of eye movement desensitization and reprocessing (EMDR) with chronic post-traumatic stress disorder” in the journal, Psychotherapy, by Lipke and Botkin (1992). His most recent article “The Induction of After-Death Communications Utilizing Eye-Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing: A New Discovery,” appeared in the Journal of Near-Death Studies, Vol. 18, No. 3, Spring 2000.
R. C. Hogan
Dr. Hogan's Ph.D. is from the University of Pittsburgh, M.Ed. from Indiana University of Pennsylvania, and B.A. from Thiel College. He is the co-author of a book training administrators in the skills they need to manage the interpersonal dynamics involved in helping teachers become more effective in the classroom. He co-authored the Personal Styles Inventory (HRDQ Publishers), a personality styles test based on Carl G. Jung's work.
He has been a professor of writing and interpersonal communication at the University of Pittsburgh, Allegheny County Community College, and Illinois State University. He was Interpersonal Development Coordinator at the Wheaton College Graduate School, teaching Conflict Management, Group Dynamics, Self-understanding, and other interpersonal development courses in the Christian Ministries department. He is owner and director of the Business Writing Center, a Web-based school training writers.
For the past several years, he has devoted his time to studying and writing about the nature of consciousness and perceptions of reality.
